So, am heading to Boston on Thursday to have lunch with, and meet Crimsonmun! It was another spur of the moment decision, brought about by a short conversation with Adrianmun, (thank you) and now I can't wait. I have talked and role played with this lady for - good god, 16 months maybe? 17 perhaps? So again, my 'meet the rp world 2006' tour grows. On the flip side, I might not be able to take the long trip to Tx (that's looking dim) or out to Nebraska to see my amigos desert_mourning or Kymscrazy this November. Decided that I needed to put a small hold on long term expensive stuff and start working on saving my money. Oh yea.
In other news, my beloved mutant kiddos took off with my mom to NYC today. They'll be gone until next week at least. If I could have gotten the time in, I'd have gone with them, but I didn't get the heads' up in time to put in the notice at work. Grrr. I'm sure they'll have a blast, but part of me is nervous. After all, other than my bro's, those are the 3 people that I love most in the world. Ahhh, gonna put it out of my mind and not worry, I'm sure they'll have a great time there. AND THEY'D BEST BRING BACK A T-SHIRT or SOMETHING. Yes, I know, I used the evil capslocks of DOOOOOM. That will just ensure that I get what I want, don't you know.
And wait a sec, did I say saving my money? *snerk* Oh yea. Got my son's 18th birthday to deal with in Sept which means King Richard's Ren Faire in Carver MA, the Godsmack/Zombie concert, my registration and inspection of my Jazzy-girl (my car for all those not in the know about what her name is) and then the first week in Oct is my cousin's wedding, and the second week is my bro and his wife's baby shower. Gonna be a broke with no money viking bi-otch, that's for certain!
