Haven't been on the internet as much lately. Real life and kiddos pretty much taking over, at least for these last few weeks before school. Needless to say I am behind and catching up on rp as quick as possible but with all the chars I role play, it's rather hard to catch up or keep up with one, because that messes up the lives of the others. Hmmm, maybe a pup a night? Two on my nights off? And not rp'ing on AIM, just using that for ooc plotting? All I know is that I have some AMAZINGLY talented friends that can do exactly that, but I can't.
And yes, Locobazooka kicked the house down. I caught a drum stick from... one of the bands. At the moment I really don't recall which one, except that it began with an "S". Got a slight sunburn, but the day wasn't too bad. I stuck to water, didn't touch the alcohol which was probably a good thing. And Donovan wouldn't take his (my) leather jacket off to save his skinny-ass fourteen year old soul. And he just HAD to go get autographs of all the 'Bazooka Babes'. *g*
So I spent about a week with him here, dropped him off and turned around and had Alan up here for the past 3 days. He was supposed to come up and help clean the garage. HEh. Yea well, that kinda got lost somewhere between him (ALWAYS) off using the car, and our hanging out together and going 'oooh, shiny' and running off here and there in an ADHD induced fun fit. So not much got done, however seeing as we don't get to be around each other much? This time was worth gold to me, pure, sparkling, shiny gold. Nah, worth lots more than that actually.
So I just got done dropping him off at his gramps in time to get ready for work. Yea, just your typical Friday night from HELL. You know, gotta be there at 2:30, getting out at 11 tonight, and then I have to be back tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM. And yes, this is my schedule, not just a once-in-a-while thing. *le sigh* But hey, it's a good job, you know? Tough as it is sometimes, I absolutely love it.
What I have noticed is that this job has really screwed up my already practically non-existant social life. After all, working Friday nights, and through the weekend? There goes GB and DI interaction with friends. And not too many people want to chill and party on Wednesday nights. Whatever, there'll be time for that later I guess. Not gonna worry about it, after all, I have to get ready for work now. Later alls!
