Final stretch
Apr. 9th, 2007 10:09 amFinal stretch gang. Only a few more states to go (and the Tappan Zee bridge - ugh). Can't wait until I am home and back in my bed, and oh what a long strange trip this has been. In spite of the wonderful and relaxing day off (hush, it has too been relaxing in NYC! We were with awesome friends and had chinese food for dinner!) the three of us are still pretty damned tired, mentally and physically. Time to finish this you know? Funny, when I was a kid I couldn't wait to get out of NH, and now I can't wait to get back. Heh. And then it will be time to get Abby registered for school, time to get paperwork completed, and get them set up in an apartment and get a PO Box and all... still a long road ahead I think. But at least the end is in site, I think. Hope.
Geoff, Abby Prime, Christina, Kym, Di - so glad I met you all. As great as you are on line or on the phone, you are all even better in person. My life has been blessed and the more positive with you in it. Stay in touch, gang; we're friends you know? Can't get rid of me that easy. And, after all, NH isn't that far away. (Long as I don't have to go through Middle Area/Silent Hills Have Eyes Pennsylvania again that is).
It's not snowing, that's a plus right?
Miss my sons, my family, miss my bear cave. Going home now.
Later, y'all.
