good news and bad

First the good stuffs. Talked to eldest beloved mutant brat today who had just gotten back from a week of cheerleading camp with his girlfriend.

Turns out that he did so good he'd gotten nominated for All Stars. *g* And his girlfriend? She was voted All Stars!! WAY TO GO SARAH HON!!! *massive e-hugs to both of you*

Which means that with 3000 bucks she can go to Honolulu and compete in the US All Star Cheerleading.. something. He's really proud of her, and kinda owey. Told me that it took three girls just to help him massage the kinks out of his back. Poor kid, must hurt having all those muscles messed up like that. And he was also glad he didn't burn, as he was in the sun all week.

VERY MUCH PROUD OF MY MUTANT-GOTH-CHEERLEADER SON. darnit.

And the bad news? OVERSLEPT. As in waaaaaay overslept. Never woke up for the clock, never woke up for the phone, ARRRRGH. Bad security officer, naughty security officer, no donuts for me!

Ok, tonight? If I'm on the computer past 1 AM? Shoot me with a tranquilizer dart or something. I need to be on time, and I CANNOT keep talking on IM. Even if I'm saying goodbye, I get distracted and end up talking, and talking, and - oh geez, look it's 2:30 AM.

I know, no one's fault but my own. Believe me I know that. I'm simply asking for gentle reminders/rocks in the pillowcases, tranq in my pizzasauce, whatever.
